13 & 14 November: Cannonball Statman & France de Griessen online & in Paris

In addition to everything else he’s doing on his continued 7 week autumn 2023 tour for his new album Hard to Break, New York antifolk legend Cannonball Statman will be doing 2 very cool things on the 13th and 14th of November with the incredibly brilliant and exceptionally talented Belgian born, Paris based artist France de Griessen.

Cannonball and France recently performed together as part of the release party for Hard to Break at The Waiting Room in Stockton-on-Tees, which saw the surprise live debuts of a number of songs Cannonball and France have been collaborating on, and a bizarre ritual involving a pack of expired breath mints.

These two will be sharing stages again much later in the tour, at Fabulus in Brussels on the 6th of December and La Pointe Lafayette in Paris on the 7th of December, and they’ll also be touring together in Spring 2024.

But before then, right between the English and Portuguese legs of Cannonball’s current tour, they’ll be performing full sets of their original music and collaborations live on the Internet worldwide and on FPP 106.3 FM in Paris, the 13th of November at 22:00 CET — and then, they’ll be reading poetry and performing some of their songs in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the following night at Librairie la 25e Heuere (€10 suggested donation).

In addition to these performances, you can find information on the other parts of Cannonball’s autumn 2023 tour in various posts from my blog: English dates, European dates with Jason Trachtenburg, & Swedish dates with Jonas Selander.
