Originally released on July 27th, 2019, under the pseudonym New Uranians, with the title Eight Mountain Demos.

This was written and recorded in Oaxaca, Mexico, a few months after the recording of my double album Miracle on Neon Clown Avenue in London, and it touches on a lot of similar themes to both that album.

A lot of songs about my struggles with gender dysphoria on this one, especially in the title track; and a lot about US imperialism, suicidality, and finding hope in the midst of horror and despair.

I didn’t feel like this made sense as a Cannonball Statman album at the time, so I released it under a different name. And now, looking back, I think it makes perfect sense to re-release it as a Cannonball Statman album instead. So here it is. Enjoy!
